Joseph focuses his practice primarily on real estate matters and has experience handling the acquisition, disposition, financing, and development of a wide variety of commercial properties. He also represents both landlords and tenants in retail, industrial and office lease negotiations and advises clients in the resolution of commercial landlord-tenant disputes. Joseph has handled projects involving a diverse array of property types, ranging from apartment complexes, industrial warehouses, shopping centers and office buildings to mixed-use properties, healthcare facilities and raw land.
He also brings substantial in-house experience to his private practice, having previously worked as legal counsel for a publicly traded REIT that owns, operates and develops a nationwide portfolio of upscale malls and shopping centers. This unique background enables Joseph to approach each transaction with a client-centric perspective by addressing potential issues before they materialize and developing practical solutions to push a deal across the finish line.
Before attending law school, Joseph spent two years in Washington as an aide to U.S. Congressman John Campbell.
