“I definitely enjoy the teaching aspect of my practice, coaching clients and working with entrepreneurs to identify what’s important to them, pitfalls to be aware of, and getting a deal done that is most beneficial to my client in the long run.”

Deep values the advisory role he plays as a commercial real estate lawyer, helping clients navigate the sometimes complicated legal landscape associated with acquisition, leasing, development and financing. His representation of buyers, sellers, borrowers, lenders, landlords and tenants places strong value on being responsive and accessible, as well as being transparent.

Deep’s practice concentrates on drafting and negotiating commercial lease agreements, typically representing landlords of shopping centers. His work includes negotiating leases with tenants ranging from big-box anchors to restaurants and smaller retail spaces. A graduate of Cornell University’s respected hospitality management program, Deep has expertise in the hospitality and service industries, which comes to play in drafting operational considerations, management agreements and lease negotiations. His previous professional experience includes working on the brokerage side of management and franchise agreements and purchase and sale transactions. Deep approaches his practice with a conviction that a close and responsive relationship with effective communication with clients is key to a good outcome.
