Max Hayashi’s practice focuses on commercial real estate transactions and the business issues that accompany them. He represents clients in the acquisition, disposition, leasing, development, and management of commercial real estate, providing practical, business-focused counsel across a wide range of industries and asset classes.
A native of the Dallas-Fort Worth area and a graduate of Baylor University, Max is proud to practice in Texas and enjoys helping clients navigate the legal and business issues that shape the region’s continued growth and development. At the same time, his experience extends well beyond Texas, advising businesses with real estate portfolios spanning the country and multiple asset classes, including industrial, retail, and restaurant properties.
Max’s practice is informed by experience across commercial real estate, corporate transactions, and highly regulated industries. He has represented healthcare clients in complex real estate matters, including medical office leasing and property-related transactions, working closely with landlords, business stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to address issues at the intersection of commercial real estate, business operations, and healthcare regulation. He has also advised corporate clients on the strategic management of nationwide real estate portfolios, helping coordinate transactions and legal considerations across diverse markets and property types.
Max earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Texas A&M University School of Law in 2023. While in law school, he served as Notes and Comments Editor of the Texas A&M Law Review, where he strengthened the research, writing, and analytical skills that continue to support his thoughtful and detail-oriented approach to client service.
Outside of work, Max enjoys reading, golfing (poorly), and supporting his hometown Mavs, Cowboys, Rangers, and Stars.
