“What I’m looking to do is to get the best deal for my client without dragging out the process and bogging it down.”
Steve takes a get-it-done approach to commercial real estate transactions, lease negotiations and finance arrangements. He focuses on executing the best-possible deal for clients without needlessly dragging out or bogging down the process. Perspective like this comes from many years of experience representing developers and landlords in a wide variety of projects along all stages of the commercial real estate cycle.
Steve’s practice includes the acquisition, development, leasing, and sale or final disposition of commercial real estate, primarily shopping centers. He represents developers of shopping centers in lease negotiations with big box tenant anchors, including numerous large retail center projects in the Southwest.
Steve’s involvement in a project often starts early during the letter-of-intent stage and proceeds through construction, development, lease negotiations and sales. His expertise also includes commercial finance associated with commercial real estate projects and general business law. In all engagements, his goal is a mutually beneficial transaction in which clients obtain the most favorable results and all parties are satisfied. Steve takes special satisfaction in knowing that by protecting the interests of his clients and taking a pragmatic and results-oriented approach to getting a deal done, all parties often walk away feeling satisfied.
